Interesting style you have going on. I like the hips and how they are cocked to one side and how her legs are absurdly long--reminds me of Peter Chung style. I also like the hair and the breastplate armor.
Maybe for a future piece, don't worry so much about a background (but don't forget it all together). Make sure to have enough detail in your figure to shine past the background. Maybe by adding in singular plates or adding in more details to the chiffon skirt. Detail can not only make the piece pop, but the viewers eye will as well
