Where to begin.
I'm on break, after the end of Module 4 at Guildhall. I intended to do several things over my break, and while I think I still have plenty of time to do them, I feel like an ass for wasting today. I felt like I was cleaning just to NOT work on my computer yesterday. Which is perhaos what I need for a while. Mod 4 was supposed to be one of the hardest ones, but I managed my time well and had some time to relax during finals and only stress about the finals themselves rather than finals, finals, DFS, TGP and a host of other junk.
So. I planned to work on some environment art pieces, namely some bits of wood and some rocks of varying sizes, because that's stuff that I can use in other projects. I also planned to work out my entire MIT project structure, which should help me manage my time wisely over the next 3 mods. I'm hoping that I can keep things low key enough that I can find time to do some Portfolio items WHILE I'm working on MIT. crazy me.
But I've been lazy. We drove to arkansas over the weekend and went diamond mining, which was fun as hell. Then on monday, I felt like crap, so I just cleaned the apt and did the dishes and laundry and bathroom and stuff.
So today I spend most of the day working out my MIT stuff, wishing I could draw for it, BUT I CAN'T. Its not because I can't think or anything, I have to wait till I have my research done before I get to jump into the project proper.
One might wonder what the heck I've been doing on it then. Well, I've worked it out, and since my MIT is on how to make a game LOOK epic, I get to focus this upcoming mod on making the GAME. I'm working in Unity3d which is the best engine EV4R, and so I'm basically coding and whiteboxing this next mod. I'm partially done with a cheap little click-game where you click on bouncing spheres that ricochet around the screen for points. I've coded all this stuff myself, which is what I'm really proud of.
Elsenews, I'll be posting the 3d of Hank soon. And whatever else I've collected this mod and forgotten to upload. It won't be much though. Most of the stuff was for TGP, which was things like barrels and crates and cactus and junk. Pretty good work, but not terribly interesting and not in a format easily shown.
Hmm. Feel like there's more I should write about. can't remember. Oh. Just designed a simple little card game that I might release for free somehow. Its like tic-tac-toe with numbers. Think of that card game in FFIIV and on PlayOnline. Its like that but much simpler. as in you can actually play it with cards. Very interesting tactical choices.
OH. GRR. WHY ARE THERE NO GAMES I'M INTERESTED IN ON PS3.
